Photography Frequently Asked Questions

 My indoor sessions are held in my studio space, in the finished basement of my home. This space is kept clean, and isolated specifically for my business. All surfaces and materials used are sanitized before and after every session. 

No. I work primarily with Military Families. My husband is military as well, and I know our lives are chaotic. We often don't get a warning or a choice when plans have to be changed. 

You simply message, email, or text me. We discuss your vision, and find a day that works best for you. I write you on my calendar. The day before the session, I will contact you for the payment, and the e-paperwork. 

I have several locations I use. For safety reasons I do not list these publicly, and I only photograph at specific parks. I pick these locations for the best lighting, and places that offer the most for your session. 

My editing style is unique. In short, I would describe my style as light, and crisp. I love bright sunny photos with creamy sunset lighting. As far as editing, I keep things simple. I do not perform skin smoothing or body alterations. I personally believe everyone is beautiful, and your natural beauty deserves to shine. That being said, I do edit scratches, blemishes, bruises, etc. Just be sure to let me know what you need. 

I also stand on a ladder for my indoor and outdoor photos, so you have the best angles. 

No catch! I work primarily with military families, and families that are just starting out in life. Many times these families don't have expendable income so I keep my prices at these rates. For me this isn't about the money, its about ensuring that families never have to go without photos.

Additionally, all holiday related sessions take place throughout the season. The reason being multi faceted. I don't personally perform well under a time limit. Allowing myself only 15 minutes to meet, interact with you, and capture your photos causes me a lot of anxiety. 

As well, I don't want to limit my holiday openings for those families, especially military families like mine, who have schedules that involve parents traveling. I want to be sure you have the ample opportunities you deserve to book your session. While this isn't the norm, and I do see the value of the mini sessions, it's just not something I personally offer.
